All that matters is, Wes had nowhere to turn and he broke you out. I liked the poetry of it.

[ There's a lot to take in here, and the fact that "Angel's" in the third person is followed by "son" trips Faith up, sure. No way she's missed that much.
But then she realizes: "Angel's" in the third person negates everything else. If she isn't taking to Angel, she's talking to the evil twin. And if Faith knows anything about Angelus, it's that he likes to toy with people. A grain of salt wouldn't suffice: anything he says should be taken with the whole saltshaker.
If he had revealed himself in the flesh, she would have started swinging without thinking. But this way, she gets to put the phone down and walk around the cabin. She gets briefly distracted with some discussion between her blizzard roomies and throws in her two cents before circling back to her seat. Her response is more measured for it. ]

I've always been a patient guy. Here, I have all the time in the world. Sure, weird things happen. But, I don't fry in the sun. Death doesn't stick, which is both a pro and a con if you ask me.
The problem is, you have all these preconceived notions about me. When you and I have never even met. Well. This you. Though, I have to say. I'm a fan of your work.
You can't say I didn't try before, you just thought Angel was trying to get the drop on you for some paranoid reason. Probably thought he was trying to get inside your brain, use a little reverse psychology, reverse engineer your little alley breakdown.
